WHY DO YOU RUN?
"Running keeps me grounded. It’s where ideas flow and stress fades"
James finds meaning in the rhythm of running—the discipline, the clarity, and the stories that unfold mile by mile. It’s as much about mental reset as it is about physical challenge. He also values the sense of community that running brings. The runners he’s met in Taiwan have always made him feel incredibly welcome, and he deeply appreciates the friendships and connections that continue to grow through the sport.

"Perseverance and consistency. Once you build routine, it becomes second nature."
For James, the hardest part is starting again after setbacks, like injuries. But he believes routine builds strength—not just for the body, but for the mind. Consistency, he says, is the secret to progress.
